ThePortablElanguage & compiler

PortablE is a recreation of the AmigaE programming language, along with many improvements, and the aim of being portable across many platforms.  If you want to know more then please read the manual.

The r6 release fully supports AmigaOS4, AROS & MorphOS, has unfinished (but pretty good) support for AmigaOS3, and basic support for Windows.

The latest (full preview) release:
r6 beta (14-07-2013b - updated 20-11-2014) as a LHA archive
r6 beta (14-07-2013b - updated 20-11-2014) as a ZIP archive (suggested for Windows users)
(This 2014 update ONLY fixes PortablE to work with AmigaOS4.1's 53.24 SDK.  And so will likely stop AmiDevCpp from compiling code for OS4 until it is updated for the new SDK.)

Examples of PortablE r6 (beta) with program code, screenshots & pre-compiled examples.

The previous proper release:
r5b (28-11-2009) as a LHA archive
r5b (28-11-2009) as a ZIP archive
Beware that this no-longer works with the latest AmigaOS4 SDK.
