The
language & compiler
PortablE is a recreation of the AmigaE programming language, along with
many improvements, and the aim of being portable across many platforms.
If you want to know more then please read the manual.
Downloads
The r6 release fully supports AmigaOS4, AROS & MorphOS,
has unfinished (but pretty
good) support for AmigaOS3, and basic support for Windows.
The latest release:
r6 beta
(27-04-2016) as a LHA archive
r6 beta (27-04-2016) as a
ZIP archive (suggested for Windows users)
(Note that for AmigaOS4.1 you need the 53.30
SDK, for AROS you need Icaros Live Desktop v2.0.3
with GCC installed, and for MorphOS 3.9 you need SDK
(20150619).)
WARNING: New installations will fail on the Amiga, unless you change the destination for folder for Executables from C: to Sys:C (sorry for the bug).
