9.4 OBJECT Type

Objects are the E equivalent of C and Assembly structures, or Pascal records. They are like arrays except the elements are named not numbered, and they can be of different types. So, to find a particular element in an object you use a name instead of an index (number). Objects are also the basis of the OOP features of E (see 17 Object Oriented E).
